Global growth in 2017 was the strongest in six years. 2018 looks to be another good year. What could darken this pretty picture? While is no shortage of risks, most are low-level threats. That said, keep an eye on rising inflationary pressures, which could mean much higher interest rates. Also keep an eye on policy mistakes, including trade wars, a US government shutdown, and poorly managed de-leveraging program in China.
